BEYOND PERFECTING
• Drive newness and desirability with the launch of a brand new franchise for Clinique.
• Capilitise and integrate the multi-ethnic target within the campaign.
• Get women intrigued and excited to try Clinique Beyond Perfecting.
A bespoke overlay, forming part of a takeover with Hair & Beauty channels. The bespoke overlay will feature on sites such as Glamour.
Overlay must be user-initiated – the overlay can only appear on the page following a click on associated ad format.
The overlay must be developed as an expansion from a standard unit (i.e. MPU, LB)
Producing designs across all banners and the overlay design. Working with the brand I created storyboards across all banner sizes for the transitions. So the client was able to foresee how this could work with the bespoke overlay. We also agreed that changing the curser into a foundation wand when hovering over the shades made the interaction more interesting and engaging for the user.
The user activates the HTML5 animation by clicking on the CTA. The video content prompts the user to explore further and allows the user to scroll through the foundation shades.
Extensive testing was required with a third party followed by a final creative and technical sign off.

START BETTER
#StartBetter, Clinique's first global digital brand campaign, and first-ever social media-centric campaign, was designed to engage female consumers on a personal level by asking them what they aspire to start better – and then celebrating their vows to do so.
The responses poured in across social media from women of all ages. In return, I worked with the brand surprising respondents in real-time with designed and illustrated personalized messages of encouragement celebrating their pledges to #StartBetter.
