SKIN DEEP

BRIEF
Over the past few years, the beauty industry has made a wonderful shift towards greater diversity in products and advertising, acknowledging previous shortcomings in targeting various skin tones and types.

This is a personal project where we wanted to explore the impact of these changes by speaking to four incredible models about their experiences and the industry’s evolution.

SOCIAL POSTS

Creating designs across all social media supporting campaigns. Create compositions that will work across all social channels.

THE BRIEF

BEYOND PERFECTING

• Drive newness and desirability with the launch of a brand new franchise for Clinique.

• Capilitise and integrate the multi-ethnic target within the campaign.

• Get women intrigued and excited to try Clinique Beyond Perfecting.

A bespoke overlay, forming part of a takeover with Hair & Beauty channels. The bespoke overlay will feature on sites such as Glamour.

Overlay must be user-initiated – the overlay can only appear on the page following a click on associated ad format.

The overlay must be developed as an expansion from a standard unit (i.e. MPU, LB)

Producing designs across all banners and the overlay design. Working with the brand I created storyboards across all banner sizes for the transitions. So the client was able to foresee how this could work with the bespoke overlay. We also agreed that changing the curser into a foundation wand when hovering over the shades made the interaction more interesting and engaging for the user.

The user activates the HTML5 animation by clicking on the CTA. The video content prompts the user to explore further and allows the user to scroll through the foundation shades.

Extensive testing was required with a third party followed by a final creative and technical sign off.

THE BRIEF

START BETTER

#StartBetter, Clinique's first global digital brand campaign, and first-ever social media-centric campaign, was designed to engage female consumers on a personal level by asking them what they aspire to start better – and then celebrating their vows to do so.

The responses poured in across social media from women of all ages. In return, I worked with the brand surprising respondents in real-time with designed and illustrated personalized messages of encouragement celebrating their pledges to #StartBetter.

To create a digital Bobbi Lip Colour Finder App/Tool to support the printed colour finder that was being used in stores.

Providing a detailed proposal, including UX, UI, Scamps and recommendations for functionalities. Researching Java Script and other animation code that could be used across the App.

AllSaints Christmas Hub

Brief

Create a shopping destination to showcase all that AllSaints has to offer over the festive period.

Including a countdown, video content and a mesmerizing sparkle on your curser.

SUIT GUIDE

Brief

To design new digital template guides for suits, denim and trousers. Working closely with the content managers, copywriters and front-end developers to deliver engaging, dynamic and user-focused content.

As well as liaising with the in-house photography studio, assisting with creative direction & concepts for editorial photo-shoots. Creating mood boards for art direction for denim, suits and chinos.

GARMENT DYED

Brief

Create a new logo for Garment Dyed which can be used across digital and print.

To update the existing feature in a new fresh format. Creating a new template and look and feel for this editorial across all touch points.

Providing designs, recommendations and functional specs for developers & functional wireframes covering user journeys as testing before launch.

Brief

Design a new Buy Now Wear Now template to enable the customer to view the outfits and buy each product. The template needs to be designed to be repurposed for other editorial features across the site.

Working with developers and content manager on functionality and user journey.

Update Design for the responsive content page for the Denim Fit Guide. Working with trade team, content, copywriter and developers to improve functionality. Editing denim videos so they are compatible for site and file weight is taken into consideration for the page.

BRIEF
To create a digital concept for Christmas that would inspire and delight users. A rich media campaign including, emails, social, banners, site take over and a digital gifting tool.

Working closely with the creative team to produce story boards and designs across the entire campaign for both male and female fragrances.

All animated banners went through extensive testing and iterations working closing with a Developer and Motion Designer to develop the concepts and user experience.


MISS SELFRIDGE

THE COLLECTIVE

The Collective is a yearly capsule collection. The objective is to focus on wardrobe essentials and basics for the coming season.

The campaign runs across all channels, including a site takeover and in-store/window scheme with targeted emails and social posts.

I created all assets for site take over including homepage designs, blog designs, social media content and banners ensuring that all designs balanced with the requirements of the offline brand campaign.

LOOK BOOK AUTUMN/WINTER 2013

STYLE TRIALS QUIZ

Collaborating with the marketing team to contribute to initial concept design for a game or quiz to feature throughout the London Olympics.

Development of concept through to final launch.

Providing scamps, wireframes, user flows and mock ups and providing iterations to further develop the concept.

Working with the UX Developer to realise the design as it was intended.

Creating all supporting designs, homepage, social media etc and translating for mobile and Miss Selfridge App.

LILLE FEATURE

The Miss Selfridge team visited the largest vintage/flea market in Europe -La Grande Brasserie De Lille.

The Lille page was a sliding feature, with a relaxed blog feel, images were treated in photoshop to give an instagram look and feel.

THE GIFT CARD

The brand was going through a transition period to redefine their USP identity and point of difference. So I was briefed to redesign the gift card.

I submitted a selection of designs, including monochrome, repeat prints and hand drawn illustrations that could work across print and digital. Supplying in-depth descriptions of stock type and print finishes.

To create a Fragrance Combining tool whereby the user can create
a bespoke scent.

The requirements as follows:

1) New/Existing customer looking to find a single scent based on their preferences.

2) New/Existing customer looking to find a unique scent combination based on their preferences.

3) Existing customer looking for a combiner for their existing fragrance.

Pitching concepts to provide a creative solution and interactive tool for the user.

BUMBLE AND BUMBLE

LONDON FASHION WEEK

BRIEF

The aim of this campaign is to drive education on Bumble and bumble backstage at London Fashion Week February 2016, by producing an interactive page.

The Homepage and landing page to incorporate video clips and products, pulling content gathered from social sites (Twitter and Instagram).

Creating designs for the whole campaign, homepage, landing page, retailer banners, email and social content and translating all concepts for mobile.

Working closely with a developer and third party on the build, extensively testing the Offerpop functionality whereby the user could upload images and share in real time.
